Pa. State Police investigate theft of Ford truck

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police were investigating the theft of a Ford truck stolen earlier this month, only to be returned a few days later.

Police said the gray 1991 Ford Ranger belonging to Gerald A. Jacobson was towed away from 206 Constitution Ave. between May 16 and 20, only to be returned to the yard May 21.

Two hurt in motorcycle crash in Lurgan Township

PLEASANT HALL, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police said two people had moderate injuries Monday after a motorcycle accident in Lurgan Township.


Police said Charles and Cindy Weston of Youngstown, Pa., were riding north on the 15000 block of Cumberland Highway when he lost control of the motorcycle. Both were wearing helmets and were taken to Chambersburg Hospital for treatment, police said.

Teen faces weapons charges in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A teenager was charged with a firearms violation in an incident Sunday morning, according to the Chambersburg Police Department.

Police said officers went to the intersection of Plasterer Avenue and East Washington Street after receiving a complaint of a disturbance at 3:16 a.m. A 16-year-old boy was turned over to the Franklin County Juvenile Probation Department on a charge of carrying a firearm without a license after being found with a small, loaded handgun, police said.

Another teenager was charged with underage drinking and a curfew violation, police said.
