Halfway Park Days

Entertainment includes a magic act, South Hagerstown and Williamsport high schools' jazz bands today and Ho-Kiss Po-Kiss performing top-40 music from the 1960s through 1980s on Sunday. Memorial Day events

Sharpsburg hosts its annual Memorial Day events. Today, wreath-laying ceremony at 11 a.m. in town square; Rohrersville Band plays at 11:45 a.m.; parade begins at Sharpsburg Elementary School at 1:30 p.m.; ceremony at Antietam National Cemetery at 3 p.m. Call 301-432-6854.

Wine and arts festival

The West Virginia Wine & Arts Festival features two days of live music. Bands performing today are Small Potatoes, Con & Cash, Todd Coyle, Elana James and the Hot Club of Cowtown. Trains for everyone
