Berkeley County grand jury indicts 10

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- A Berkeley County grand jury indicted 10 people Thursday on the third day of the May term of circuit court, according to Prosecuting Attorney Pamela J. Games-Neely's office.

The panel indicted 40 people over three days.

Those indicted Thursday were:

  • John R. Cleminson, 31, of 144 Raphael Court in Martinsburg, on one count of embezzlement and 87 counts of forgery between September 2002 and February 2007.

  • George I. Lebon III, 20, of 53 Lillian Way in Martinsburg, on counts of bringing stolen property into state, two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, operation of a vehicle without a valid certificate of inspection, operating a vehicle without insurance, driving without a valid operator's license and fleeing from a law enforcement officer on foot in August and October 2007.

  • Francisco Meza, 39, aka Juan Francisco Meza-Quintero, on counts of DUI third offense, no insurance, no operators and driving revoked for DUI first offense in January.

  • Rodney E. Scott, 37, of 253 Berkstone Drive in Harrisburg, Pa., on one count of failure to pay child support between November 2005 and May.

  • Brandy Dantoni, 32, of 88 Acoustic Drive in Martinsburg, on counts of embezzlement, forgery and uttering between December 2002 and January 2007

  • A Littleton, W.Va., man was indicted on 21 counts of first-degree sexual assault, 21 counts of sexual abuse and 21 counts of first-degree sexual abuse between August 2000 and August 2002.

  • A Martinsburg man was indicted on 10 counts of first-degree sexual abuse and 10 counts of sex abuse between January 2002 and April 2007.

  • A Hedgesville, W.Va., man was indicted on four counts of sexual abuse and 14 counts of second-degree sexual assault between August 2006 and March 2007.

  • A Martinsburg man was indicted on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of second-degree sexual assault in December 2007.

  • A Bunker Hill, W.Va., man was indicted on two counts of third-degree sexual assault in September 2006.
