Four taken to hospital after Easter Seals bus accident in Hagerstown

Three mentally disabled adults were taken to Washington County Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after a bus from Easter Seals Adult Day Services was involved in an accident, the Hagerstown Police Department said.

The bus collided with another vehicle about 2:15 p.m. at Jefferson Street and North Cleveland Avenue, according to a Washington County Emergency Services dispatcher.

The driver of the other vehicle also was taken to Washington County Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

Two ambulances from Community Rescue Service, one from Smithsburg Emergency Medical Services and the Hagerstown Fire Department responded to the crash, dispatchers said.
