Correction

May 20, 2008

A story on page A1 of Monday's Herald-Mail incorrectly identified the unit of measurement by which farmers are compensated for the milk their cows produce. The story should have said that a farmer currently earns about $23 per 100 pounds of milk, almost twice as much as the $13 per 100 pounds the farmer was getting last year.

The Herald-Mail apologizes for the mistake.
