CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man was charged with aggravated assault and other offenses after firing a shotgun at another man Sunday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Kenneth Schwab, 44, of 1012 Paper Mill Road, also was charged with recklessly endangering another person and making terroristic threats, police said.
Schwab got into an argument about 7 p.m. with William Proctor Jr., 22, of Chambersburg, and left his house, going to his former residence next door, police said.
Schwab returned with a shotgun, firing two shots in the air as he walked toward his house, police said. Once back inside, he called Proctor's name, and when Proctor walked into the foyer, Schwab fired a shot into the wall above Proctor's head, police said.
