McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - "Staff Dress Down Day," a matching challenge, sponsored by the Family Career and Community Leaders of America Club at McConnellsburg High School, raised $800 recently for Fulton County Medical Center.
The group chose the medical center as their annual community service project.
The challenge to the district's staff members raised $400 and the club matched it dollar for dollar and presented a $800 check to Cheryl A. Brown, director of community relations and development for the medical center.
The funds will go toward future medical center expansions and secure a paver placed in the center court yard for the group.
