GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - Marijuana plants with a street value of about $500,000 were found Saturday morning in a home in Great Cacapon, according to the Morgan County Sheriff's Department.

The plants were discovered when the sheriff's department responded to the home for a reported suicide, police said.

Vince Shambaugh, chief deputy of the Morgan County Sheriff's Department, said 270 marijuana plants were found in the home.

The plants were being grown under grow lights, Shambaugh said. The matter is under investigation, he said.
