Movie night planned

The Student Government Association at Hagerstown Community College is hosting a family movie night on Friday, May 23, at 7 p.m., in HCC's Kepler Theater.

The movie night will feature the animated family film, "Bee Movie," featuring the vocal talents of Jerry Seinfeld, Renee Zellweger, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Chris Rock and Patrick Warburton.

This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary. Prizes and snacks will be available. Participants are encouraged to dress in yellow and black, but are not required to do so.

Business series continues

The Technical Innovation Center at Hagerstown Community College will offer the last portion of its executive entrepreneurial seminar series on Tuesday, June 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the center, conference room 208.

The seminar is titled, "Creating Business Alliances," and will address the major issues that all entrepreneurs face, from starting their business to handling opportunities and challenges that come with growth. The deadline to register for the seminar is Friday, May 30. The seminar costs $5, which includes materials and refreshments.
