'Music Makes Miracles' benefit concert at North Hagerstown High

Do you love music? Do you have a few decent articles of clothing that just don't fit anymore? Then this event is perfect for you.

The Key Club of North Hagerstown High School is organizing a benefit concert to collect children's clothing from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the North High Stadium. The public is invited.

The concert, entitled, 'Music Makes Miracles' will cost $5 or a donation of clothing for children in need. Tickets will be available at the door. All proceeds will be given to the Children in Need Foundation.

The Key Club has put in a lot of work to make this happen, according to Bobby Barnhart, NHHS Key Club president. Club members have been meeting every week and have three committees working to get the concert organized.

"This is our first concert," Bobby says, "and if it has a good turnout, then it will become an annual event."

The goal is to bring local teenagers together to help others.

"We hope to bring the youth of Hagerstown together to have a good time and raise money for underprivileged children," Bobby says.

If you have any questions you can call Bobby Barnhart at 301-991-0556.
