Amy Wagaman, daughter of Charles and Mary Wagaman of Hagerstown, recently completed her Ph.D in Statistics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

She is a 1999 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School and a 2003 graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and received the Goldwater Scholarship for mathematics.

Amy has accepted a position as assistant professor of statistics at Amherst College in Amherst, Mass.

Jenna Stauffer of Hagerstown participated in a music and arts event at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School April 25 and 26.

The spring celebration showcased original music, literature and works of art in the Good Shepherd Chapel on the school's campus. This was a student-led event featuring student talent.

MIDLAND, Mich. - Alicia Brandenburg, of Sabillasville, Md., has been named to the president's list at Northwood University.

Alicia is a sophomore. To achieve the president's list, a student must earn a 3.85 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

Chelsea Patthoff of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Elisa Alexander, of Kearneysville, W.Va., have been named to the dean's list at the University of Cincinnati for the winter quarter.
