Gaming store plans move

May 10, 2008

The Mystikal Keep, a gaming store on North Jonathan Street in Hagerstown, will move downtown to the Arts and Entertainment District on June 1.

Owner Michael Clabaugh said he signed a one-year lease earlier this week to occupy 1,300 square feet at 55-57 S. Potomac St.

"That part of Potomac Street seems to be picking up and thriving," Clabaugh said. "I want to be part of that."

The Mystikal Keep features board, card and miniature-war games, such as World of Warcraft and Settlers of Catan, Clabaugh said. In addition to sales, the store hosts sessions for customers to play Dungeons & Dragons and other games.

The Mystikal Keep's hours are: Sundays, 1 to 6 p.m.; Mondays and Tuesdays, noon to 7 p.m.; Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 8 p.m.; and Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
