Theft, B&E cases reported in Washington County



The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded Wednesday to the following incidents:

· At 3:44 p.m., theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the first block of Oak Tree Lane. The expiration sticker from a tag was taken.

· At 4:57 p.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 18000 block of Mount Lock Hill Road. A screen was removed but nothing appeared to be missing.

· at 5:39 p.m., theft was reported at the AC&T, 25 N. Main St. in Boonsboro. Someone drove off without paying for $42.61 worth of gas.

· at 6:01 p.m., auto theft was reported at Washington Court in Smithsburg. Someone took a Kia van with the West Virginia tag number 3KV381.

· At 6:10 p.m., theft was reported at the Pilot Travel Center, 16921 Halfway Boulevard. Someone drove off without paying for $682.45 worth of gas.

· At 6:34 p.m., theft was reported in the 20600 block of Woodbridge Drive. A hose reel was taken.

· At 6:43 p.m., theft was reported in the 200 block of Green Fern Circle in Boonsboro. A bicycle was taken.

· At 9:01 p.m., breaking and entering was reported at Douglas Court in Smithsburg.

· At 9:11 p.m., theft was reported in the 300 block of West Main Street in Sharpsburg. A dog was taken.

· At 9:22 a.m., theft was reported at Sheetz, 17550 Virginia Avenue. Someone driving a white Jeep Cherokee drove off without paying for $71.03 worth of gas.

· At 11:28 a.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 18000 block of Showalter Road. Someone damaged door hinges.
