Orrstown Bank breaks ground for branch in Hagerstown

Officials from Orrstown Bank recently gathered for the groundbreaking of the bank's newest full-service community banking office at 1020 Professional Court (off Eastern Boulevard) in Hagerstown.

The 4,000 square foot facility features two drive-up lanes and a 24-hour drive-up ATM, and will augment Orrstown's existing Hagers-town office at 201 S. Cleveland Ave. Sarah Rock, who manages the South Cleveland Avenue location, will be responsible for business development at the new office.

The groundbreaking was attended by Hagerstown Mayor Robert E. Bruchey II, Al Martin, director of finance for the city of Hagerstown, Hagerstown City Administrator Bruce Zimmerman, Washington County Commissioners President John Barr, Art Callaham, executive director, Greater Hagerstown Committee, Brien Poffenberger, president, Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce, in addition to officials from the bank.

The construction of the facility is by Lehman Construction Services, under the direction of Jeff Knouse, president who was on hand as well. Wayne Burkholder, resident project manager and Ken Myers, construction manager, also attended from Lehman Construction Services. Also in attendance were Michael Batter, project engineer, Fox & Associates and Jason Sanbower, field representative/construction administrator, Noelker & Hull Associates Inc.
