COVE, Pa. - Nate Kauffman had three hits for Waynesboro, but Susquenita outlasted the Indians (12-3) for the victory.

No. 3 South Hagerstown 8, Smithsburg 5

SMITHSBURG - Steve Grossman had two hits, including a two-run homer, as South Hagerstown beat Smithsburg.

Tyler Presgraves had two doubles for the Rebels (12-2).

Jay Shafer had two doubles and an RBI for the Leopards (5-10).

No. 5. Clear Spring 8, North Hagerstown 7

CLEAR SPRING - John Kehr hit a walk-off three-run homer to lift Clear Spring over North Hagerstown.

Kehr also hit a two-run blast in the second inning and Corey Morgan hit a three-run double for the Blazers (12-3).


Cody Nelling went 4-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Hubs.

Cumberland Valley 11, No. 6 Chambersburg 2

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg took a 1-0 first-inning lead before Cumberland Valley came back with four runs in the second on the way to a lopsided Mid-Penn Commownealth win.

The Trojans (10-6, 8-3) had 10 hits but left nine runners on base. Ben Eby had three hits and scored both Chambersburg runs.

No. 7 Greencastle 7, Trinity 4

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Cole Sellers had two doubles as Greencastle-Antrim beat Trinity.

Trevor Ile and Alex Izer had two hits each, while Joe Sellitto and Jared Doyle each had a double for the Blue Devils (12-4).

St. Maria Goretti 4, Hedgesville 2

Alexander Zoretich had a pair of doubles and two RBIs to help St. Maria Goretti defeat Hedgesville.

Nick Martin had two hits and J.J. O'Neill struck out 10 in a complete-game effort for the Gaels (10-8).

Chestnut Ridge 4, Southern Fulton 1

FISHERTOWN, Pa. - Colt Redman had four hits for Southern Fulton in a loss to Chestnut Ridge.

Jeremy Clingerman had two hits and Quinton Hull hit a double for the Indians (7-5).

Hancock 6-5, Grace 1-1

HANCOCK - Nick Lanehart pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts as Hancock beat Grace Academy in the opener of a doubleheader sweep.

Lucas Trunkle had two hits for the Panthers.

In the nightcap, Danny Mauck and Jake Foreman had two hits each for the Panthers (8-7), while Lewis Rudy had two hits for the Knights (6-6).

Heritage 5, Broadfording 4

Steven Barthalow and Andrew Hendershot had two hits apiece to lead Heritage Academy to the MDCC win.

Cody Butts homered for the Eagles (7-3, 5-2).

Matt South, Zach Snodderly and Ryan Dominguez each had two hits for Broadfording Christian Academy.

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Chelsie Oals laid down a bunt single and Brittany Kolb scored the game-winner on a throwing error on the play as Hedgesville (28-3) shut out Jefferson.

Tiffany Biggs threw a two-hitter, while Megan Carroll had a double for the Cougars (18-9).

No. 5 Greencastle 10, Trinity 7

SHIREMANSTOWN, Pa. - Roxanne Dewalt and Rochelle Christman had three hits each as Greencastle-Antrim beat Trinity.

Kayla Pond had two hits and three RBIs, while Rachel Statler and Cheyenne Melius had two hits each for the Blue Devils (15-2).

Chestnut Ridge 14, Southern Fulton 4

NEW PARIS, Pa. - Southern Fulton committed six errors in the Sideling Hill League loss to Chestnut Ridge.

Keena Elbin had four hits and Kelly Elbin had two hits for Southern Fulton (9-4, 6-4).

Clear Spring 9, Smithsburg 3

CLEAR SPRING - Christina Mehaffie had three hits as Clear Spring beat Smithsburg in the MVAL Antietam.

Damara McDonough and Korey Atherton had two hits each for the Blazers (6-9, 2-5).

Jessica Hartman had two hits for the Leopards (8-8, 2-6).

McConnellsburg 4, Fannett-Metal 0

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Megan Eichelberger pitched her first no-hitter of the season as McConnellsburg shut out Fannett-Metal.

Sam McQuade had three hits, including an RBI double, for the Spartans (8-6).


Smithsburg 13, North Hagerstown 1

SMITHSBURG - Kevan Schellenberg had five goals and an assist, while Josh Ritchey had three goals as Smithsburg beat North Hagerstown.

Craig Trueblood had five assists and a goal, Dean White had an assist and Kyle Ritchey, Cullan Ganley and Luke Slick each scored for the Leopards.

Dallas Dunn scored for the Hubs.

SMITHSBURG - Amber Ford scored six goals and Allyn Sailing had five goals and four assists to lead Smithsburg over North Hagerstown.

Jade Tostanski had three goals, Meg Bromley and Natalie Dilandro each had two and Hannah Garver added one for the Leopards (8-4).

Jackie Keller, Devan Veger and Katie Bechtel scored for the Hubs.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Christine Walker had a goal and an assist to lead Cumberland Valley Christian to the Mason Dixon Christian Conference win.

Ashley Reinhart had a goal and Hannah Carey had an assist for CVCS (10-2-1, 8-2-1).

Taylor McIntire scored twice as Heritage Academy beat Broadfording Christian Academy.

Morgan McIntire had an assist for the Eagles (9-2).

Shalom 4, Grace 1

Emily Taylor scored two goals to lead Shalom Christian.

Kelsie Shaffer scored the lone goal for Grace Academy (2-8).
