Liquor permits OK'd for Hagerstown, Boonsboro establlishments

WASHINGTON COUNTY - Liquor permits were approved on Wednesday for two establishments - one in Hagerstown and one in Boonsboro.

The Washington County Board of License Commissioners, commonly known as the liquor board, approved a transfer of a permit from Friendly Cafe to Friendly Pub at 231 W. Franklin St. in Hagerstown, according to board records.

The old permit was issued to Gary L. Saunders. The new permit is for Richard Glenn Arvin Sr., Tina Bussard and Randy L. Rhoton.

A new permit was granted to Lettie Gordon for Palettie, A Gourmet Bistro, according to liquor board records. It is expected to open this month at 1 S. Main St. in Boonsboro.
