Prudential Franklin Associates Realtors

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Three agents with Prudential Franklin Associates Realtors were honored during Prudential Real Estate's Sales Convention in March in New Orleans.

Troy Garman was named to The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc. Leading Edge Society for 2007.

Helen Meyers and Bob Barton were named to The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc. Honor Society for 2007.

Also attending the convention were sales manager Bobbi Washabaugh and agents Cindy Coldsmith, Nicki Embly, Randy Goshorn, Dick Hurst, Kasey Hurst, Jamin Kimmel, Stacy Ott and Janet Sierk.

Susquehanna Bancshares

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Elaine Francis has been promoted to assistant vice president of Susquehanna Bancshares.

Francis is a learning and performance manager at Susquehanna, where she oversees a team of trainers who assist employees in learning customer service, sales, supervisory and technical skills.


Francis has worked for Susquehanna Bancshares for 29 years, including 13 years of training bank employees.

Francis holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the Maryland Banking School.

Maryland Correctional Training Center

Jose Rodriguez, a correctional officer II on the 8-4 shift, was named Employee of the Month for April at the Maryland Correctional Training Center.

Rodriguez is assigned to a job that requires him to be responsible for the overall operation of an area that performs urinalysis testing for MCTC, Maryland Correctional Institution-Hagerstown and Roxbury Correctional Institution. Rodriguez also provides support to the Intelligence Department, performing a variety of duties that have enhanced the overall security at MCTC.

Rodriguez has been employed by MCTC since 1996.

Atlantic Coast Trailways

Gary L. Shank recently was honored for driving 1 million miles for Atlantic Coast Trailways.

Shank has been employed by Atlantic Coast Trailways since January 1986 and is the company's most senior employee.

Knob Hall Winery

CLEAR SPRING - Janice Riley has been named director of marketing at Knob Hall Winery.

Riley, a resident of Washington County, will be in charge of marketing efforts at the winery, including serving as the winery's public relations spokesperson.

Riley has worked with advertisers, financial institutions, publishers, military contractors, retail stores and agriculture firms. She has experience in the various aspects of marketing, including sales, product and pricing.

Riley holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Shippensburg (Pa.) University.

The winery is on a 173-acre Clear Spring farm owned and managed by Dick Seibert.

Hair After Style Quarters

Carol Craig, Missy Hewitt, Crystal Krocker and Ashley Knable of Hair After Style Quarters recently participated in CyberWorld, an extensive three-day international education and training program in Scotts-dale, Ariz., sponsored by International Hairgoods Inc. of Minneapolis.

They saw new products and learned new techniques for the best hair replacement options available.

Simplicity Salon and Spa

Kenny Stouffer of Simplicity Salon and Spa recently passed the Maryland state board exam to become a senior cosmetologist.

Kelly Goetz of Hagerstown, an independent salesperson for AtHome America, was recognized for having high team sales in January.

Market America

Kenneth Cross Jr. of Hagerstown recently advanced to Coordinators as an Independent Distributor for Market America's UnFranchise System.

Market America is a product brokerage and Internet marketing company based in Greensboro, N.C., and specializing in one-on-one marketing.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

The following agents with the Hagerstown office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage were honored as top agents for 2007 based on gross commission income and closed sales:

Cynthia Moler was Top in Office in units and gross commission income, and received the International President's Elite designation.

The Horn-Test Team led by Sharon Horn was Top in Office in units and gross commission income, and received the President's Club designation.

Florence Taylor-Block and Vel Byers received the International President's Circle designation.

W. Preston Fouke, Jeanne Pino, Linda Wigfield and the Realty Associates Team led by Susan Dattilio received the President's Club designation.

Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Darrell Morgan and Jean Rosenberger of the Waynesboro office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA were recognized for excellent performance in the month of March.

The decision was based on the number of new listings, sales and referrals, attendance at real estate meetings and workshops, and customer satisfaction reports.
