Folk singer to perform at Washintgon County Free Library May 4

April 24, 2008

Boston-based folk singer/songwriter Chris Wilhelm will perform at Washington County Free Library on Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m.

Wilhelm travels from town to town playing and singing his own acoustic melodies that echo the best of early Bob Dylan and American blues and roots music.

With a roster of original songs and his self-released album, "This Train's Not Going Slow," under his belt, Wilhelm continues his busy pace. He plays about five shows a month around the Northeast, while continuing to perform in light rail stations in Boston.

Call 301-739-3250, ext. 136, to reserve a free ticket to this performance.

The library strives to make all programs accessible. Please inform the library of special needs two weeks prior to the program.
