St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Scott Bellows will preach Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m communion services. Christopher McClintick, Mercersburg Academy senior, will play trumpet at both services. At the later service, the parish choir will sing.

Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m. including an adult forum led by the Rev. Stephanie Yancy on the topic Christian Perspectives on Aging, Part 3.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Sunday at the 8:15 a.m. chapel service and 10:30 a.m. communion service, Pastor Quentin Fleming will preach on the topic, Christ, Our Cornerstone.

Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Eric Norgard will preach at the 8:30 a.m. contemporary service and the 10:45 a.m. traditional service Sunday. Pastor Torben Aarsand will be celebrant. Tony Howell will be lay assisting minister.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will speak on the topic, I've Got the Joy, Do You?, Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. service. Mooney and the puppets will give a children's sermon.

Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.

First Baptist Church, the Rev. Thom Smith will speak at the 11 a.m. service Sunday. The topic is "Statute" of Liberty.

Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:45 a.m.

St. Catherine Eastern Orthodox Church, at 10 a.m. today, the Divine Liturgy of Lazarus will be celebrated. A luncheon will follow. Vespers are tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Father Dennis Buck will speak at the 10 a.m. Divine Liturgy this Palm Sunday. Church school is at 11:30 a.m.

Monday and Tuesday, there will be bridegroom services nightly at 7:30.

Presanctified Gifts and Holy Unction services are Wednesday at 10 a.m. Thursday services are at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Friday at 3 and 7 p.m.

Saturday at 10 a.m. is Divine Liturgy followed by Paschal Vigil at 11:30 a.m. A breakfast will follow.

Lenten fasting continues until the orthodox Easter on April 27.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, Pastor Carol Hallman will speak Sunday on the topic, Living Stones, I Presume, at the 10:30 a.m. service.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., Missionary Kathy Masters will be a guest Sunday at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. and also in Sunday school, which begins at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., Pastor Larry Weber will speak at the 10:40 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. services Sunday on Decisions: Duty or Choices.

Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Family fellowship is at 6 p.m., and Grace Teens and kids club meet at 7 p.m.
