To celebrate TV Turn-off Week, April 21 to 25, Washington County Free Library, 100 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown, is hosting a series of events. Activities include music, art, storytelling and, of course, reading books.

Monday, April 21
Family Music Night, 5 to 8 p.m. - Children can make a French Horn out of a garden hose, funnel and duct tape. Supplies are limited, so get here early.
Tuesday, April 22
Family Game Night, 5 to 8 p.m. - Bring a favorite family game or play one of ours.
Wednesday, April 23
Family Art Night - Two ways to join the fun. From 5 to 8 p.m., make art with supplies and books provided by library staff. At 7 p.m., Kent Roberts will lead a cartooning workshop. Open to 20 participants age 8 and older; call 301-739-3250, ext. 132, to preregister.
