'The Sound of Music'

'Strega Nona'

FREDERICK, Md. -- The Fun Company presents the children's story "Strega Nona." Three plays by Hrothsvita

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University Rude Mechanicals Medieval and Renaissance Players present three plays by Hrothsvita, a 10th-century German nun. Hrothsvita wrote plays with heroines who were strong spiritual women. Despite their spiritual theme, the plays have a definite sense of humor. 9 p.m. today, April 17; 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19. $5; $2 for Shepherd faculty and staff. 'The Andersonville Trial'
