Betty Lou's Got the Blues

Betty Lou Magoun's lifetime of work is on display. Meet the artist, eat hors d'oeuvres and peruse the variety of styles while listening to the blues. The exhibit continues through Tuesday, April 29 at Benjamin Art Gallery, Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

'Eclectic Visions'

Drawings, prints and collages by Daryl Ewan, Ruth Jordan and Rebecca Myers are on display. The exhibit continues through Saturday, May 17 at the Council for the Arts, 159 S. Moonlight and Roses

The exhibition focuses specifically on the qualities of moonlight and roses. Historical and contemporary works from the museum's permanent collection as well as pieces from private collectors are used to explore this theme. Continues through Sunday, April 20. Seventh annual box show and silent auction

FREDERICK, Md. -- An exhibit and auction benefit artists' co-op. Member artists and guest artists are each given a wooden cube with one open end. The boxes are transformed into an often surprising treasure -- an end product one might not think a box could be. Continues through Saturday, April 26. Exhibit and art auction

FREDERICK, Md. -- Exhibit pieces were donated from the private collections of Dr. Fred and Teena Broadrup and Dr. George and Pamela Lewis.
