CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man was sentenced Wednesday in Franklin County Court to 3 1/2 to seven years in state prison for a 2007 home invasion robbery.

Kendrick Dont Groover-Floyd, 20, of 568 Philadelphia Ave., pleaded guilty to robbery on March 5, according to court records. In addition to the prison sentence, Judge Carol Van Horn fined him $300 and ordered him to pay $300 in restitution to the victim, Myron Wilford of Shippensburg, Pa.

Groover-Floyd and two other men forced their way into a home on the 700 block of Meadowbrook Lane in Chambersburg on the afternoon of June 14, Chambersburg police said. The three men, one of whom had a handgun, threatened the two residents of the house and stole a watch, bank card, driver's license and other items from Wilford, who was visiting the house, police said.
