I-70 reopened after accident involving spill

Interstate 70 eastbound near White Hall Road east of Hagerstown reopened about 3:30 p.m., after a two-vehicle accident had shut down the right lane, according to Maryland State Police.

The accident, which happened at 1:13 p.m., involved hazmat materials, a dispatcher from the Washington County 911 center said.

The dispatcher did not provide any further information.
