Trap league holds second annual competition

North American Rod & Gun Club will conduct its second annual handicap trap league competition along with shooters from Catoctin Rod & Gun Club and Isaac Walton League. Shoots will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday, beginning April 22, continuing for 10 consecutive Tuesdays.

There is a $20 registration fee to be redistributed as team awards at the completion of the shoot plus a $7 clay bird cost per 50 qualifying rounds.

Needlework exhibit needs entries

The Contemporary School of the Arts & Gallery is calling for area needlework artists to submit entries to the needlework exhibit that is opening April 19. This is not a judged exhibit and there is no entry fee. Entries must be received at the Gallery at 4 W. Franklin Street in Hagerstown by Friday, April 18.
