Berkeley Co. law enforcement officers seek lounge robber

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Berkeley County law enforcement officers are looking for a man who robbed the Lamb Chops Lounge on Eagle School Road in Martinsburg early Wednesday, according to a Berkeley County Sheriff's Department press release.

The robbery was reported at 12:17 a.m. A man holding something under his shirt that could have been a handgun, but was not displayed, demanded money, deputies said. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

The robber was described as a black male, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short hair and a stocky build. He was wearing a black ball cap, a black long-sleeved shirt and black pants, deputies said.

Sheriff's department deputies and officers with the Martinsburg Police Department searched the area, but could not find the man.
