Washington Square United Methodist Church, Pastor Jerry Lowans will speak at the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday. The topic is The Lord is my Shepherd. Music will be provided by the Can-Do Kids, Followers and children's bell choir.

Benevola United Methodist Church, Boonsboro, the Rev. Helen Steiner Smith will speak at the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services Sunday. The topic is Which Side of the Gate Today? The cherub choir and Disciples of God will be singing.

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, the Rev. Len Smith will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday on the topic, According to their Needs. Josh Hoffman is worship leader.

Smithsburg Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Jim Hoffer will speak today at 11:30 a.m. on the topic, Behold, The Tax Man Cometh.

Church school is at 10 a.m.

Mount Zion Mennonite Church, Boonsboro, the Rev. Craig Oury will speak on the topic, Committment and Community, at the 10 a.m. service Sunday.

Children's church begins at 10:30 a.m.

Maranatha Brethren Church, Pastor Ron Shank will give a Bible message at 10:55 a.m. Sunday on the topic, Will You Dance?

Sunday school for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.

At 6 p.m., teens will have a dodge ball tournament. Pastor Jay M. Fretz will continue the small group study of the Book of Acts at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday night at 7 p.m., there is Bible study and prayer for adults, Teens Fueled and Awana for grade-school boys and girls.

Mount Lena United Methodist Church, Keith Hoffman will speak at the 9:15 a.m. service this Girl Scout Sunday. His topic is To Know Someone.

Christian Science Society, the topic Sunday at 10:30 a.m. will be Are Sin, Disease and Death Real?

Sunday school for young people up to age 20 meets at 10:30 a.m. during worship.

The youth religious education classes, which also begin at 10:45 a.m., are focusing this month on the history of the church.
