Photography class

The class includes technical camera details and techniques for improving your photography skills. For ages 12 and older. Students are required to bring their own camera equipment and supplies. Classes are given by Dale Swope, Mark Cozzoli, Mark Youngblood, Dennis Crosby, Mike Lippolt and Matt Prince. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays April 12, 19, 26, May 10, 17, 24 and 31. Photography workshop -- basic composition

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Frank Ceravalo shows students how to get the most out of their cameras with a hands-on workshop. Students must bring their own cameras and a notebook. Students learn how to apply basic principles of composition including: framing, symmetry and the rule of thirds to create better photos. 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday,

Golf lessons

WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Waynesboro YMCA offers golf lessons through Waynesboro Country Club. Learn putting, chipping and driving tips from Matt MacCumbee, head PGA pro at the country club. Mini cheerleading class for ages 3 to 5

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. -- Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission offers mini cheerleading classes for ages 3 to 5. Mini cheerleaders should be able to attend class without a parent present and be potty trained well enough for a 30-minute class.
