Mother Goose event set for Hager House

Visit the Jonathan Hager House today at 7 p.m. for the Mother Goose Unplugged program.

Children of all ages will have a great time learning the true meaning and historical background behind some of their favorite nursery rhymes.

Museum to feature exhibit on horses

The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will host "The Horses Are Coming" exhibit beginning Saturday.

This exhibit will portray the influence horses have had on a variety of artists working in many mediums.

Mansion House hosts 'Garden Exhibit'

Visit the Mansion House Art Gallery in City Park on Saturday for the "Into the Garden Exhibit" by member Marie McCafferty.


Gallery hours are Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Chick-fil-A to host special kids night

A Webkinz Kid's Night is planned for Tuesday, April 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chick-fil-A on Wesel Boulevard in the Halfway area.

Those children interested in attending may bring along one of their favorite Webkinz friends. Kids will get the opportunity to make matching bracelets (one for themselves and one for their Webkinz). Webkinz games are also scheduled for the evening. Children will also have a chance to win a Webkinz prize.

Annual spring yard sale set for April 26

The annual spring yard sale at the stables at Hagerstown's Fairgrounds Park will be Saturday, April 26, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sports card show set for April 25-27

Valley Mall will host a sports card memorabilia show beginning Friday, April 25. Sports items and collectibles will be set up throughout the mall through Sunday, April 27.
