HERSHEY, Pa. - Rachel Statler had two hits and three RBIs and No. 1 Greencastle-Antrim scored 16 runs in the second inning and shut out Milton Hershey 21-0 in three innings on Thursday.

Diamond Byers had two hits and two RBIs, Kali Ball had three RBIs and Kayla Pond and Cheyenne Melius each had two RBIs for the Blue Devils (4-0).

Hancock 20, St. James 8

WILLIAMSPORT - Brittany Moats went 3-for-3 and scored five runs to lead the Panthers over the Saints.

Hayley Ruppenthal struck out six and scored four runs to help her cause for Hancock (1-5).

Heather Lowery had two hits for St. James (0-2), including a three-run homer in the first inning.

Everett 4, McConnellsburg 1

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Megan Eichelberger pitched a two-hitter with 15 strikeouts, but McConnellsburg (1-3) fell to Everett, which capitalized on the Spartans' five errors in the last two innings to rally in the top of the seventh.



Greencastle 18, Milton Hershey 0

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Trevor Ile had two hits and four RBIs as the Blue Devils exploded with 18 runs in the first two innings and shut out Milton Hershey.

Eric Schanzenbacher had two hits and three RBIs, Drew Bittner had two hits and two RBIs and Cole Sellers blasted a grand slam - his third homer in three games - for Greencastle-Antrim (2-3).

Goretti 8, Grace Academy 3

David Bowen and Nic Martin each had two hits and scored twice as St. Maria Goretti (4-5) beat Grace Academy.

Brandon Hess and Kevin Miller had two hits each for the Knights (1-2).


Greencastle 18, Milton Hershey 3

Greencastle-Antrim (4-0): Dani Morgan, Marie Siefker 3 hits, 2 HR each; Carly Mowen HR; Ali Stouffer 3 hits; Kacie Straley, Wend Wolff combined 1-hitter.


South Carroll 17, Smithsburg 10

SMITHSBURG - Chris Shift scored five goals and Chris Ashcroft added four to lead South Carroll over Smithsburg.

Kevan Schellenberg had four goals, Kyle Ritchey and Cullan Ganley had two goals each and Craig Trueblood and Josh Ritchey each had one goal to lead Smithsburg (3-2). Trueblood had three assists and Nick Hoban made 12 saves.
