Hagerstown man sentenced to more than 15 years for dealing drugs

BALTIMORE -- A Hagerstown man was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison on federal drug charges Monday in U.S. District Court, U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein said in a news release.

Thomas Wackman, 24, was found guilty after a four-day trial of conspiracy to distribute marijuana, cocaine and cocaine base, Rosenstein said.

At sentencing, Wackman was found to have obtained more than 100 kilograms of marijuana, five kilograms of cocaine and 50 grams of crack cocaine during the course of his drug dealing activities, Rosenstein said.
