FREDERICK, Md. - A panel of experts on domestic violence will lead a discussion on the effects of abuse on individuals and on the community at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the Whitaker Campus Center at Hood College, 401 Rosemont Ave.
Speakers will be Barbara Martin, CEO of Heartly House Inc.; Teresa Bean, chief of the domestic violence unit for the state's attorney's office; Colleen Moore, program coordinator for the Family Violence and Response Program at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore; and Rene Renick, director of programs and operations at the national Network to End Domestic Violence.
The panel will be hosted by Nancy Hennessey, director of Hood's Catherine Filene Shouse Career Center and Office of Service Learning at Hood.
