Annual bake sale set for Saturday
St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, at 1020 Maryland Ave., will host a bake sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Assorted cakes, cookies, apple dumplings, candies and sticky buns will be available. All proceeds from the sale benefit Relay for Life.
Nursery rhymes topic of program
Join in the fun at the Jonathan Hager House and Museum on Thursday, April 10, at 7 p.m. for Mother Goose Unplugged.

Annual arts and crafts show set
Beginning Friday, April 11, Valley Mall will host its annual arts and crafts show. An assortment of handcrafted wood collectibles, jewelry, framed artwork and crafts will be available through Sunday, April 13.

Congratulations to you! Cindy Brown, of Hagerstown, celebrated a noteworthy accomplishment this month.

Parents of Washington County students, be sure to note the following on your calendar: Schools will be closing 21/2-hours early Friday. Prekindergarten classes will not be held Friday, and this will mark the end of the third marking period for students in elementary school.
