Ah, let's go to the hunt
Let's go to the hunt, oh baby.
Well, you can rock it, you can roll it
You can bag it, you can hoard it at the hunt.
Hunters at Hagerstown Community College Student Government Association's Easter egg hunt earlier this month were too young to remember Danny & the Juniors, but they still had a hoppin' good time searching for 2,500 candy-filled plastic eggs.
More than 200 children attended the March 8 hunt around the College Center, said Heather Barnhart, HCC's student activities coordinator. For the egg hunt, children were divided into age groups: 2 years old and younger, 3- and 4-year-olds, 5- and 6-year-olds, 7- and 8-year-olds, and 9- to 12-year-olds.
For each age group, a specially marked egg won its finder a grand prize. For ages 2 and younger that was a big stuffed duck. The other grand-prize winners received a large Easter basket containing toys and candy, Barnhart said.
