On Good Friday at 1 p.m. in the conference room is The Passion of the Christ.
On Good Friday at 7 p.m. in St. Matthew's sanctuary is the tenebrae service of shadows.
· St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Lenten midweek services on Wednesday at 7 p.m. will feature Pastor Tom Perry speaking on The Shadow of the Cloud of Witnesses.
· Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, a Maundy Thursday love feast will be at 7 p.m. in fellowship hall.
· Zion United Church of Christ, 201 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, Maundy Thursday services will feature communion at 7:30 p.m.
· St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 51 S. Main St., Smithsburg, Maundy Thursday services will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the celebration of the Lord's Supper and foot washing. Pastor Mark Mooney's sermon is entitled Peter: The Rock.
On Good Friday, the Smithsburg community walk will begin at the front steps of St. Paul's at 1p.m. Seven stops will be made along the way in reflection on the Seven Last Words from the Cross.
The walk, sponsored by the Smithsburg Area Church Association, will conclude at Trinity Lutheran Church.
· St. Paul's Lutheran Church, corner of U.S. 40 and Md. 57, Clear Spring, a service of confession, absolution and healing with holy communion will be on Maundy Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
· Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Fairview Church Road, a tennebrae service will be held on Good Friday at 7 p.m.
· Blair's Valley Church of God, Clear Spring, Maundy Thursday service is at 7 p.m. There will be open communion and feet washing.
· St. Paul's Free Lutheran Church, Leitersburg, Maundy Thursday services are at 7 p.m. with the topic, Do This.
Good Friday's service is also at 7 p.m. with the topic, Waiting for Sunday.
· Salem Reformed Church, Pastor Steve Wagoner will be speaking on The Passover at the 7:30 p.m. communion service on Maundy Thursday. Earmon Shifflett is the liturgist.
· Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Maundy Thursday service is at 7 p.m. with communion and a love feast.
Pastor Len Smith will preach at the Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on the topic, Jesus's Good Friday sermon.
· Christ Lutheran Church, on Maundy Thursday, there will be a table communion at 7 p.m.
The Good Friday service begins at 7 p.m.
· Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, corner of Washington and Mulberry streets, a traditional Love Feast will be celebrated on Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m., which will include a service of feet washing.
· St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, Hagerstown, the Rev. David Baker will be speaking at the 7:30 p.m. Maundy Thursday communion service on the topic, Remembered No More.
On Good Friday at 7:30 p.m., Baker will be speaking on The Day We Call Good.
· Otterbein United Methodist Church, at the corner of Franklin and Locust streets, Hagerstown, on Maundy Thursday at 7:30 p.m. the last supper Jesus shared with his disciples will be recreated.
On Good Friday, a 7:30 p.m. service will give an opportunity to remember and reflect upon the events of this day.
· Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church, a threefold communion service will be held Good Friday at 6:30 pm.
· St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Maryland Avenue, Hagerstown, the 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service will be a drama of The Last Supper.
· St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Keedysville, will host the parish Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. with holy communion and the stripping of the altar. The Rev. Richard Hembrock will be the guest preacher.
· Christ Community Church, Mapleville Road, Boonsboro, a fellowship meal and communion will be held Maundy Thursday at 6 p.m.
A Good Friday service starts at 7 p.m.
· Manor Church of the Brethren, Fairplay, a full, traditional love feast will be celebrated around the theme, Without Love, on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.
During the service, the events of The Last Supper, including a simple community meal, feet washing, and the bread and cup communion will be recreated.
Readings, scriptures, music and very short meditations will also be offered.
