BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - The Streetscape Committee for the Town of Bath will present a public workshop on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at The Country Inn.
Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson (JMT), the consulting engineering firm for the project, will include a presentation with suggestions the public made at the initial streetscape workshop.
Larry Lower, Streetscape Committee member, said JMT will present the preliminary plan for the town, and residents can give their preference on what streets need sidewalks, benches, lampposts and signage.
Lower had said phase one of the streetscape plan will include the three blocks of Wilkes Street from Fairfax Street to W.Va. 9 West. If funds are available, the side streets of Congress and Independence will be included in Phase One.
