ANNAPOLIS - A proposal to use global positioning system technology as a monitoring tool in domestic violence cases has been rejected by a House committee.
Del. Christopher B. Shank, R-Washington, had filed a bill to allow GPS tracking to be used for people who violate orders of protection.
Last week, the Judiciary Committee narrowly voted the proposal down.
"I'll try again next year," Shank said.
