Trip to Haiti more than a vacation for St. Ann parishioners

A group of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church parishioners are shown recently with school children in St. Claire, Haiti. The Hagerstown group took The Herald-Mail along on a service trip to their sister parish, St Claire. The travelers include: Ben Lloyd, back left; Barbara Lloyd, front left; Craig Kurtz, back right; and Agnes Supernavage, standing next to Kurtz. During the trip, the group members taught first aid and hygiene and stocked first aid stations in the schools, taught rosary making to parishioners, helped at the local clinic, distributed vitamins to the children and seeds to the farmers.
