State Farm gives $1,000 to Boys & Girls Club

March 09, 2008

Local State Farm Insurance agents recently presented a $1,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County.

Jim Deaner, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club, accepted the funds, which will be used to continue the Boys & Girls Club's mission of youth development through structured, challenging, and fun after-school programs.

"The Boys & Girls Club has grown dramatically in recent years in direct response to the needs of our community," Deaner said.

"State Farm has been a great partner for us and we are honored that the local agents made this investment in our children," he added.
