Monday, March 3

Antietam Academy High: Antietam Reads: Bronx Masquerade; SSR and self portraits.

Clear Spring Elementary: Red and White Day; Bookmobile, 11:15 a.m.; Clear Spring Continuously Reads Kick-off.

Clear Spring Middle: PTSA meeting, 6 p.m.

Clear Spring High: Athletic Boosters meeting, 7 p.m.

Conococheague Elementary: "Seussical" musical performance by second graders, 7 p.m.

E. Russell Hicks Middle: Department meetings, 2:30 p.m.; PTA meeting, 7 p.m.

Emma K. Doub Elementary: Parent Training for Fairview Outdoor School, 5 p.m.

Fountaindale Elementary: Class pictures.

Lincolnshire Elementary: Wear red and white and/or a Dr. Seuss shirt.


Pleasant Valley Elementary: Book Fair (March 3 through 7); Stitch with Me Club for fourth-graders, 2:20 p.m.

Smithsburg Elementary: Assembly with the Barter Players

Smithsburg Middle: School Improvement Team (SIT) meeting, 3:35 p.m.

Smithsburg High: Performance Matters parent information and training for the Smithsburg region, including Smithsburg High, Smithsburg Middle and Old Forge Elementary, 6 to 7 p.m.

Tuesday, March 4

·2 1/2 hour early dismissal.

·Board of Education business meeting in BOE auditorium, 1 p.m., broadcast live on Antietam Cable Channel 99.

Antietam Academy High: PBIS meeting

Clear Spring Elementary: Clear Spring Continuously Reads; Fox in Socks Day; Stop, Drop, & Read in morning.

Clear Spring High: Future Business Leaders of America officers meeting, 1 p.m.; Performance Matters parent information and training for the Clear Spring region, including Clear Spring High, Clear Spring Middle, and Clear Spring and Conococheague elementary schools; Band Boosters meeting, 7 p.m.

E. Russell Hicks Middle: Band Boosters meeting, 7 p.m.

Lincolnshire Elementary: Dress like your favorite storybook character; the "Cat in the Hat" will make a guest appearance.

Old Forge Elementary: PTA meeting, 6:30 p.m.

Pangborn Elementary: PTA meeting, 6:30 p.m.

Partners for Success Family Support Center: "What is Individualized Education?" an overview of the special education process, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Call 301-766-8221 to pre-register.

William Brish Planetarium: New program opens tonight: Destination Pluto, 7 p.m.
