Toughman contest

Local talent search

Authentic Community Theatre Inc. is holding auditions for performers of all ages, amateur and professional. Those cast will participate in a performance in May. Candidates should prepare a 60-second performance displaying one talent or a 90-second performance for multiple skills. A CD player and/or accompanist will be available. Jazz festival

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The Shepherd University Department of Music will host the West Virginia Eastern Regional Jazz Festival. The public school competition will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, followed at 8 p.m. by a performance of the Shepherd University Jazz Ensemble featuring special guest Juanita Williams.
