Wilson Ruritan plans events

The Wilson Ruritan Club will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner on Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the club on U.S. 40 West of Hagerstown. Tickets cost $5 per person. A cake auction will also be held.

The club also will be holding its monthly country butchering and pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 8, beginning at 6:30 a.m. Come out and enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes with one serving of sausage or puddin', orange juice and coffee. Tickets cost $4. Meat goes on sale at 7 a.m.

Potpie dinner

Mt. Tabler Lutheran Church at Fairview will be holding a slippery potpie dinner. The potpie will be chicken and ham slippery potpie. The dinner will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Dodgeball team does well in tourney

Congratulations to the "Nobodies" from Clear Spring High School who won the Washington County Recreation Department's Dodgeball Tournament on Feb. 18.

The team members were Daniel Mott, Francesco Scotto di Carlo, Adam Reid, Asya Brown, Sarah Dice and Jessica Dice.

Boosters plan golf tournament

Come out and tee it up with the Clear Spring Athletic Boosters Club at its biggest event of the year.

The second annual Boosters Golf Open (four-person scramble event) will be Friday, May 9.

The registration/lunch will be at 11:30 a.m. and the shotgun start will be at 1 p.m.

The tournament will be at Whitetail Golf Resort in Mercersburg, Pa. (11573 Blairs Valley Road.)

This event is to help support Clear Spring High School athletics. The cost is $80 per golfer, which includes 18-holes with cart, lunch, dinner, drinks, prizes, contests, and more!
