February fete and silent auction

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -Saturday, Feb. 23, 4 to 7 p.m., the home of Honnor and Meade Dorsey, 202 E. German St. Goose Route Arts Collaborative hosts a benefit party and silent auction. Jazz pianist Sam Jannotta will entertain guests with live music. Friend tickets are $25 per person; supporter tickets are $100 and admit two; patron tickets are $250 and admit four. Saturday at the Summit

Benefit concert

Sunday, Feb. 24, noon, The New Delmar Inn, 16715 National Pike, west of Hagers-town. Fuze hosts a benefit for the family of Jason Shanholtz. All proceeds go to his wife to help defray funeral expenses. Bands involved include Voodoo, Jester, Deadlocked and Leadfoot.
