GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A 13-year-old girl was expelled from Greencastle-Antrim Middle School on Thursday for allegedly writing a bomb threat on a bathroom wall in November, school officials said.
The seventh-grader has been charged by police and had a series of school hearings that concluded Friday, according to Mark Herman, principal of the middle school.
"She would not be eligible to return to the Greencastle-Antrim School District unless the personnel at Manito can give her full support that she can complete an educational program at Greencastle-Antrim," Herman said.
