Pancake breakfast set for Saturday

The Maugansville Ruritan Club will host a pancake breakfast in their building on Saturday from 6:30 to 11.

The menu includes all the pancakes and sausage you can eat. Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 for those 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and younger.

All proceeds of the event help to support the many charitable programs the club sponsors.

Fire company plans basket bingo

The Maugansville Fire Co. will hold a basket bingo on Sunday at the fire station. Call 301-797-6770 for tickets and/or information.

Fund drive still in progress

The Maugansville Fire Co.'s annual fund drive is still in progress.

If you haven't already done so, please consider a tax deductible contribution for this worthwhile cause. Remember, the fire company is there for you!


Historical Society to meet Thursday

The Maugansville Historical Society will meet at the First National Bank of Greencastle, Maugans Avenue branch, at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Lois Oberholzer will conduct a program on rug hooking.

Interested area residents are invited to attend.

Tommy Martin celebrated a birthday Feb. 19.

Billy Martin will be having a birthday on Feb. 28.
