Bus trip to Williamsburg planned for senior citizens

Springtime in Colonial Williamsburg, Va., is a bus trip specifically designed for seniors to get a chance to see the birthplace of the nation.

Activities include:

Day 1 - Guided tours of the Capitol and Governor's Palace; dinner at the Whaling Company (old English-style dining); overnight accommodations.

Day 2 - Continental breakfast; free time; lunch at the Charles City Tavern Berkley Plantation (site of the first Thanksgiving in 1619.)

Mark your calendars for March 27-28. The bus will be departing from the Village at Robinwood parking lot at 6 a.m.

The trip is open to persons older than 55. The trip costs $375 (single); $325 (double) and $300( triple) and includes round-trip motor coach transportation provided by Atlantic Coast Trailways, overnight accommodations, dinner, breakfast, lunch, admissions, guide service, taxes, baggage handling, tour guide and driver gratuities.
