THURMONT, Md. - Emma Dalton had 19 points, seven rebounds and seven steals on Friday to help No. 5 Boonsboro remain undefeated in the MVAL Antietam with a 53-51 victory over Catoctin (5-14, 2-6).

Brynn Arnone had nine points and 11 rebounds and Kristen Byers had five steals for the Warriors (13-6, 8-0).

No. 2 Jefferson 63, Martinsburg 52

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Dakeea Marshall had 16 points, 18 rebounds and four steals to help Jefferson beat Martinsburg.

Nicole Hines had 13 points, Katie Danno had 12 points and 10 boards and Aissa Diehl had 11 points, seven assists and four steals for the Cougars (17-3).

Iesha Robinson led the Bulldogs (8-13) with 17 points, while Jamie Hill had 12 and Casie Rogers added 11.

St. James 52, Hancock 48

HANCOCK - Heather Lowery had 24 points, 17 rebounds and five steals and Caroline Salisbury added 17 points and nine steals to help St. James (8-16) edge Hancock (7-14).

Chelsea Stigile led Hancock with 16 points, 11 rebounds and three steals, while Shawnda Wills had 14 points and seven rebounds and Brandy Jenkins had six rebounds and four steals.

Walkersville 88, South 9

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Kayla Freeman, Rachel Loudin and Dannielle Higgins each scored for South Hagerstown (0-18, 0-7) in an MVAL Piedmont loss to Walkersville (13-7, 3-4).

Brunswick 56, Clear Spring 47

CLEAR SPRING - Hannah Rogers had 22 points and Danielle Maught had 19 points to lead Brunswick over Clear Spring in a MVAL Antietam matchup. Ellie McCarthy chipped in 10 points for Brunswick (8-11, 5-3).

Paige Shirk had 15 points to lead Clear Spring (3-16, 0-8). Andrea Baum contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Blazers.

Brunswick 73, Clear Spring 62

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Justin Stone scored a game-high 26 points and added nine rebounds to lead Brunswick to a MVAL Antietam victory. Andrew Simpson had 19 points and Austin Darling contributed 12 points and eight rebounds for Brunswick (11-7, 6-2).

Keith Gilchrist had 21 point to lead Clear Spring (10-9, 3-5). Brandon Glazer had 12 points and Kyle Crist pitched in 10 points for the Blazers.

Musselman 64, Petersburg 47

INWOOD, W.Va. - Morgan McDonald scored 20 points to lead Musselman over Petersburg.

Logan Holloman and J.D. Daniels had 10 points each for the Applemen (12-7).

Derek Miller had 20 points for Petersburg (7-12).

Keyser 65, Berk. Springs 53

BERKELEY SPRINGS, WVa. - Preston Hartman scored 22 points to lead Keyser to a Potomac Valley Conference win over Berkeley Springs. Jeremy Green had 15 points and Matt Wilmer contributed 10 points for Keyser (10-9, 5-0).

Joseph Wright led Berkeley Springs (5-14, 3-4) with 18 points and Ryan Redick had 12 points for the Indians.

Faith 74, Calvary 69

CRESAPTOWN, Md. - H.B. Dunham had 32 points, eight rebounds and six assists as Faith Christian outlasted Calvary Christian in overtime in the MDCC.

Brandon Hoy had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Larry Kerns had 17 points and nine rebounds for the Falcons (7-14, 5-9).

Jordan Peters scored 27 points for Calvary Christian.

King verbally commits to Tennessee

Martinsburg junior Brandon King, a two-time Herald-Mail All-Area First Team pitcher, has verbally committed to play baseball for the University of Tennessee.

King went 4-2 with a 1.46 ERA last season as a sophomore, striking out 63 in 48 innings. He also hit .471 with eight doubles, eight homers and 42 RBIs.

As a freshman, King went 8-3 with a 0.88 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 48 innings.
