Daffodil Days
Monday, March 10, to Sunday, March 16. The American Cancer Society is accepting orders for daffodils. Supporters who donate $10 will receive a bouquet of fresh-cut daffodils. Supporters who donate $25 will receive a bouquet of daffodils and Bea R. Hope, a special Boyds Bear designed exclusively for this event. Orders must be placed by Wednesday, Feb. 20. Sweethearts' dance
WAYNESBORO, Pa. --Â Saturday, Feb. 16, 8 p.m. to midnight, Eagles Club, 22 E. Main St. Phantom Shadow will provide music. Entertainment includes dancing, games, prizes, food and a cash bar. Each couple will receive a special sweethearts' gift and one couple will receive a romantic dinner at Rolling Mill Tavern in Waynesboro. Forget-Me-Not Memory Gala

This year's theme is "Dancing Stars of Washington County." Six couples from the Washington County area have been chosen to dance for "votes," which cost $1 each and are tax-deductible.
