Washington Co. Commission on Aging to hold AARP driving course

February 13, 2008

Washington County Commission on Aging will hold an AARP driver safety program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, and Wednesday, March 12, at Loyalton Assisted Living, 20009 Rosebank Way in Hagerstown. The instructor is Allen Swope.

The class costs $10 per person and checks should be made payable to AARP. If class is canceled, enrollees will be notified and registration fees returned or held for the next scheduled class.

The class is designed to help drivers improve their skills and prevent traffic accidents. The program is approved in every state, and automobile insurance companies in some states provide premium reductions to those who have taken the class. Classes are open to drivers of all ages.
