SAINT JAMES -- St. James led by 18 points in the fourth quarter and held off a late rally to beat St. Andrews 58-51 on Tuesday night in a Mid Atlantic Conference game.

The Saints (13-9, 5-6) appeared to be leading comfortably in the final period when St. Andrews connected on six straight 3-pointers to cut its deficit to six points, but St. James held on for the win.

Ben Farquhar led the Saints with 17 points. Mike Russ had 15 points and seven rebounds, Spencer Draper had eight points, six rebounds and five assists and T.K. Washington had six rebounds for St. James, which clinched a home game in the first round of the conference tournament beginning next Thursday.

Andrew Zurn had 27 points, including five 3-pointers, for St. Andrews.

Highland View 70, MSD 67

FREDERICK, Md. -- Jermane Salary drained a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left in overtime to lead Highland View Academy past Maryland School for the Deaf on Monday.


Thyrell Franks had 23 points and 20 rebounds, Patrick Salary had 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Austin Owens added 12 blocks for the Tartans (5-7).
